Sales Account Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Cultivate current customer relationships, building a reputation as a trusted business partner.
  • Take advantage of upselling and cross selling opportunities to expand account penetration.
  • Develop sales proposals that address customer-specific needs and draw upon the firm’s full product and service mix.
  • Diligently follow up on company-sponsored marketing initiatives and events.
  • Responsibly maintain frontlog forecast and report on results.
  • Achieve revenue and margin goals across assigned accounts.


  • Previous software or similar B2B sales experience.
  • Strong team-builder – able to get customers, suppliers and internal support groups on the same page. 
  • Judgment and maturity to uphold the firm’s reputation at industry events.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proposal-writing.
  • Able to speak to BI and SaaS-related issues.
  • Minimum of three years high tech sales experience.
  • College degree much preferred
